The Interview
Though interviewing may rank with having your wisdom teeth extracted on the list of life’s most painful moments, it doesn’t have to be all discomfort and anxiety. Even if you don’t think you’re at your best under pressure, there are techniques you can use that will maximize your chances of getting an interview with the company of your choice and then secure a job offer once you’ve been granted a face-to-face meeting.
Getting In
It’s almost impossible to get a job without going through an interview first. But sometimes getting that first interview can seem near impossible. One solution is the informational interview.
Preparation
You (hopefully) wouldn’t take a final exam without studying the material first. Interviews also require focused preparation.
Follow-Up
As any career coach will tell you, it’s what you do after the interview that can set you apart from the masses.
