Sample Thank-You Notes
Whether you type or handwrite your thank-you note depends
on how much information you're including. If it's a simple
thank-you, then a handwritten note on plain businesslike
stationery is fine (avoid colored bunnies or flowers). If
you want to write a more detailed letter
making several points about your qualifications, type and
print it on plain white typing paper or resume-quality bond.

More Detailed Thank-You Letter:
Dear Ms. Johannsen:
Thank you for taking the time to meet with me yesterday
to discuss the accounting position with SooperToober.com.
I especially appreciated your insight into the additional
skills necessary for an employee in the accounting department
in order to perform her job successfully.
I have enclosed a copy of a two-page report I wrote for my
financial analysis class at Dodkins College. In light of your
emphasis on communication skills, I wanted to demonstrate
that in addition to being able to perform all the financial
elements required of the accounting position, I am also an
excellent writer.
I am even more certain after our conversation that I can
make a valuable contribution to the accounting team at SooperToober.com.
Please feel free to contact me if you have further questions.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Linda Jones
